Dr Vasili is an orthopaedic surgeon, managing disorders of the adult lumbar spine, arthroplasty, both hip and knee, and acute trauma presentations.
After obtaining his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Dr Vasili completed his surgical specialty training through the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Vasili then undertook further training in trauma and joint replacement surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, and adult spinal surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and the Princess Elizabeth Orthopaedic Centre in Exeter, England.
Upon his return to Sydney, Dr Vasili commenced orthopaedic practice, and served as the Director of Trauma Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital for five years, and was actively involved in the acute spinal trauma service at that hospital for 8 years.
